The fashion industry is filled with noise about ethical standards. In reality, any company can claim use of organic materials and fairtrade practices, but without an outside party to confirm, it’s impossible to know if those claims are true. We’re not about that.
As part of our uncompromising ethics model, our supply chain is certified by both the Global Organic Textile Standard and the Fair-trade Labelling Organization. Our factories also carry the sa 8000 social accountability standard certification – the leading international standard for meeting ethical labour standards. Essentially, they’re the gold standard in ethical production.
Together, their sole purpose is to ensure that our workers receive fair wages and work in safe conditions, and the environmental impact of our production is actively minimized.
Our products are made exclusively with fairtrade organic cotton which means the premium we pay our cotton farmers allows them to have a good standard of living and invest in their businesses and communities. As part of our journey to become carbon neutral we pair 1kg carbon offset with every pair of undies sold.
It’s the backbone of who we are, what we do, and how we do it.
